The story of BB8

January 27, 2016

We adopted BB8 into our family

This is the day we got BB8.

My Brown Baby ’08 or BB8.

He was perfect for me. He had leather heated seats, moonroof, a stereo system, and all kinds of features. He was not brand new, but he had character. He was 2008, he had a lot of miles and is color was brown, but a big personality.  All my cars get names, for they are more than a machine. I spend a lot of time in my vehicles. I travel long distances each day, and I must rely on a vehicle to get me where I need to go to school and work. It took me a few hours, but I came to the name, because my favorite droid in Star Wars, is BB8. It just fit… I even ordered BB8 decals to put on the back of him. I owned this car for about 36 hours, but he saved my life.

Again I LIVED!

Thank you, Subaru for making the car that saved my life. This was the first Subaru I have ever owned. Several first responders commented that “if I had been in another vehicle, I would not have survived”the roll cage saved her life”. I know that this will not be the last Subaru, that I will own. For my protection, my families protection…
